Pros

Sometimes you can work from home

Cons

Management is not very good. Depending on the Underwriter you can get fired without any prior warnings . The company likes to market themselves as not corporate, "the new google of insurance", but the reality is that it isn't. A lot of the offices are still pretty corporate. You are still expected to be in at work a certain time, working from home is left usually for your sick days, it's very competitive. It's difficult to take vacation and if you are sick, you are still expected to work from home! Benefits aren't great, no 401K employer matching, and salary is very low. They over work you and most employees work through their lunches. Also they don't offer any raises not even for cost of living. DON'T WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!

Pros

None really, unless you are a total Paul Thompson lemming. Company is full of cliques so if you are not in one of them, eventually you will want to leave. Do your career a favor and don't work here. Just don't. They will promise rainbows and unicorns. Go to a real company with a real leader, good people AND ETHICAL STANDARDS. The owner has all these lies about hiring disabled people which is nice if it were not a hypocritical marketing ploy to avoid taxes and get publicity, what a !

Cons

Accounting sucks, substandard software and pirated MS Office products. People running roughshod on him and playing games to their advantage. After all he is screwing everyone else, why not screw him? Ethics down the drain at this company. Just work elsewhere, they are going to get bough out by people who know what they are doing so unless you get a golden parachute, hit the eject button with your helmet on and go work for a real MGA, not this wannabe POS.

Pros

Some flexibility but the work will pile up within a day so technically no flexibility

Cons

So many cons I don’t know where to start. First off idk who they get to write the positive reviews. It’s got to be a new staffer that was “encouraged” to leave feedback within one week of them being on the job. People create fake accounts and bind them in order to play with numbers for commission and no one notices because there’s not management ( which is what the boast.... dummies) there is no pride in underwriting they live lost so many contracts because of people placing business anywhere without reading guidelines. People bring animals children friends and family to work which is a huge distraction in the office when you’re loaded with work. Because again no management. Group chats everywhere filled with gossip and b.s. honestly , for your sanity and your reputation in the industry don’t work here. I’ve gon on interviews and they laugh when I tell them I used to work here. Pretty sure some current staff with post a positive review after mines to balance it. Believe me, this is a place you DONT want to be. They’ll be out of the insurance game in the next few years.... guaranteed!!!!!
