Pros

Nice people, okay work environment

Cons

So several cons. The job itself was nice 50k a year with a three month long training program where you can mess up as much as possible until you get it right or that’s what I thought and was told. I was actually fired in my second month of training for lack of detail even though I was improving. I felt like the people wanted me to succeed but didn’t want to put in the effort to see that come to fruition. At the end of the day I was fired for messing up PRACTICE INVOICES AND PRACTICE POST ON SALESFORCE. I put that in all caps because it’s kinda ridiculous. I left my previous job because I was told working here would be better. I can see firing someone at the end of training if they haven’t learned anything but to fire somebody in the middle of training when you can see they are trying to get things right is pretty pitiful. Additionally their training program was an unorganized mess with old information infused with new information and it didn’t even train me for what I was actually going to be doing which was answering calls for upgrades and making invoices. Furthermore the information they had on their for those two objects was so sparse when I actually tried to apply it I was told that it was wrong and I had to do it another way. Which begs the question why didn’t you just update your training for that section. Lastly, the training has about 2-3 different names for the positions that you’ll need to report to which makes it super confusing. I feel like they were trying to hard to make an overly professional workplace but fell short because the training didn’t back it up at all. Next to lastly, they have these test that don’t actually test your practical knowledge what you’ll find yourself doing is just memorizing test answers and regurgitating memorized answers from the rest of needless you take on the final. They rely on this so much instead of having a human their actually teaching you. Test like this don’t work from online classes unless you have an expert their to explain it to you step by step and actually engage with you. And you may say that’s your responsibility and to which counter no it’s not it’s your responsibility to train me to success my responsibility is to listen and to apply that knowledge. You cut out your responsibility by making those test and just letting them do the teaching yes you give me all the tools for success but you have to refine a person to make them successful. It’s like teaching someone a language they can’t learn without an expert or a teacher present.

Pros

Hands down, this is my favorite, most-rewarding job to date. Management is approachable and truly wants to listen to your thoughts and ideas. My manager is extremely supportive, always checking in to make sure I have a 'Goldilocks' workload (not too much, not too little). My team is true "Squad Goals" - we all get along and really enjoy working together. The culture at Scribbles is one of teamwork, friendship, and mutual passion for the product. Being able to work from home and take PTO when I need to are also big pros

Cons

As with any software, there are bugs and delays. There's always something to work on or improve, but to me, that's part of the process.
