Pros

Autonomy. You can set your own schedule, most of the time. If you can get in good with the person who distributes the leads, then you are golden.

Cons

Uneven and unfair distribution of leads. Good leads are unfairly distributed to the owner's current favorite sales/designers. Beware this favoritism changes on a whim. Also, the owner is highly competitive for "top sales person", and takes all the large remodeling leads.
