Pros

remote, amazing sales team (that they fired completely)

Cons

Where to start. From the time I arrived at Sealed it has been utter chaos to say the least. Within a six month time frame we had 4 different director of sales, this by the far was the LEAST diverse company I have ever worked for, and to be frank the majority of Senior Leadership had no clue what was going on. The company crumbled under the weight of constant false promises. The company's lack of transparency was a tactic to keep talented sales reps from leaving a failing company and when things got tough, they abandoned the very employees that kept the doors open. This company left us with three weeks of severance, after blindsiding us with ANOTHER massive lay off. Employees have a real fear that we will not get our money because everything else this company has promised has been a lie. I hope that when Lauren and Andy hug their children tonight they are reminded of us whom will also be squeezing our kids a little bit tighter tonight, knowing they blindsided and impacted families. Honestly for those of us that stayed, we got played. They latched onto our believe in a mission and exploited the talents that we brought to this job every single day. I wonder who will respond to these messages now since the company also fired the very person that took the time to read and respond to these reviews. This firing is the CULTURE of the company. It is embedded deep within the core of those making decisions. With the amount of empty promises and lies I hope given the opportunity they are never in charge of the careers of others again.

Pros

Remote first, mission driven, culture (once felt) like family

Cons

Extremely volatile work environment. Evident that we’re out of money. We were promised equity increases and that was all just a front. Layoffs were perfectly arranged so that Sealed didn’t have to honor comp increases or additional equity grants. Recognition is meaningless. The best and hardest workers (the real doers and brains behind the operation) we’re just laid off. No POPs team members remaining, which to me indicates Execs have no interest in creating a “safe” and stable environment for retained employees. The Town Hall meeting to go over what’s next was truly embarrassing and I no longer feel this company has a chance to turn around. We’re too far gone.

Pros

great leadership in Sales (all laid off now)

Cons

no growth, false promises, C Suite makes reactions not decisions. was promised a promotion since I was hired, initially up to an AE at 75k then only to an SDR2 at 55k, was told since January I'd be promoted "next month" was told I was guaranteed the promotion October 1, was then laid off Oct 5. What a joke, why make all of these decisions only to fire everyone. It's not a healthy environment and the product they are selling is simpy insulation converting to end of funnel at less than 2%, read the red flags and run!
