Only one thing that might be considered a "con" by some, but I personally see it as individual preferences to evaluate before joining:
– In-Office Culture: This is a mostly in-office business, which was a change for me. However, the Victoria office environment is modern and thoughtfully designed, featuring clean and sleek spaces, standing desks, well-equipped meeting rooms, access to a small gym with high-quality equipment & showers, coffee machines, and regular Ocado deliveries with fancy breakfasts, yoghurts, fruits, and more. This is my first in-office role since COVID, and I can clearly see the benefits for the business—particularly in terms of collaboration and agility. Two things that are essential for industry-disrupting. So, be prepared to commit to both the office culture and the team (and it’s worth noting that the team is fantastic, with everyone getting along well and the culture is solid).
If you’re committed to your career and enjoy an in-office environment, this is exactly where you want to be. Perhaps 1-2 days per month from home would be nice; however there is some ad hoc flexibility when needed. Honestly, the pros FAR outweigh this, so personally, I have no issue committing to what works for the business's success and enjoy seeing the team as it allows for great teamwork
