Where to begin? I have enjoyed the majority of positions I have held over the years and can say I have never hated a job until SeniorLIFE. The "big wigs" show overt nepotism, which has led to disgraceful leadership, a complete lack of professionalism, and disrespect shown to employees. I was blatantly lied to about the training for this position, as well as some of the incentives that led me to take this position over another. There is no guidance given but you are expected within a week to be on your own and making no errors. I approached one of the directors in regards to several of these issues and nothing was done. The turnover rate for my position is high and it is clear why-- the supervisor keeps the name badges of former employees who have quit (quite a large stack) and makes a point to proudly tout them in front of her new employees.
Do not take a position with SeniorLIFE (especially Johnstown)... It will never be worth the agony, and certainly not the pay.
