Pros
- Flat hierarchy - Even though this was my first job people wanted to hear my opinions, ideas and insights. I felt intellectually respected.
- Innovation focus - There are no policies or hierarchies of approval to hold you back from trying something new. It's not a culture of 'this is how it's done, so do it that way'. Management is usually interested in trying new ideas.
- Lots of opportunity to develop your own career - I saw people that started as analysts drive their career to specialize in different industries, methods, or areas of the business (ex. business development, design/branding, machine learning, data analysis). If you're vocal about your interests, management will support you in following them.
- Great peers to learn from - Everybody I met at Sentis was smart, organized and a hard worker.
Cons
- Busy season in the fall can be stressful
