Pros

Work from home (sometimes) although - you may be asked to come in to the office with little as 24 hour notice. Boundaries? Work life balance? Never met them.

Cons

Over promise and underdeliver should be Sesimi's tag line. But if you are considering working there (heaven only knows why), here's a taste of what you’re signing up for: Ever fantasized about working at a circus? Well look no further, your managers are clowns! Leadership operates in complete secrecy, making bizarre, self-serving decisions that are either totally detached from reality or ethically questionable at best. Expect zero transparency, endless cover-ups, and a nauseating amount of corporate gaslighting. Morally Bankrupt (but sometimes, you may also not get paid?): This company has no ethics, no principles, and certainly no shame. If you believe in doing the right thing, you’ll be laughed at (literally) and steamrolled. Toxic Work Culture: Senior leadership and management are blatantly rude and disrespectful to their staff. Harassment, belittling, and open hostility are just another Tuesday around here. Chaos, Not Collaboration: There’s absolutely no direction, no vision, and certainly no teamwork. Everyone is left to fend for themselves in a whirlwind of incompetence and petty client politics. Zero Development(maybe negative because I think I lost a few brain cells): Forget learning, growth, or training — they shove you into the deep end with no resources and no support. If you fail, they’ll simply blame you and move on to the next poor soul. Nonexistent HR: Shockingly (but are you really shocked though?), there is no HR department. If you have a problem, tough luck — you're on your own. Complaints vanish into thin air, and accountability doesn't exist here. Bottom Line: Working here will destroy your motivation, ruin your mental health, kill your career momentum, and leave you questioning every decision you’ve ever made.

Toxic management

Pros

The doers in this company are all knowledgeable, supporting, helpful, fantastic people. So if you do find yourself here, make friends with the doers, they’ll help you get through your days.

Cons

If senior management have actually attended your job interview, congratulations, it’s probably the first and last time you’ll ever speak to them. Unfortunately their platform is so convoluted you need to speak to them to figure out how to do your job or you’ll get fired. Welcome to being ghosted. This is unless, they need you outside of work hours to help fix another broken thing, so ALWAYS have your phone on you, on the weekend or Christmas, New Years Day, or whilst you’re on holidays. Actually no, if you take a holiday they already hate you. This thankless ‘start-up tech company’ is a baseline service that might have been good at one point, but now just forces staff to spend thousands of hours covering up the many, many holes in the product that could easily be fixed. Management have no idea what they actually want you to do, it changes daily. So if you enjoy no direction, no support, a toxic environment, constant mandatory overtime, never being promoted, and being expected to give up your whole life for no reward ever, this is the place for you.

Pros

Development team are great people

Cons

The business advertises for talented Graphic Designers saying they will complete a variety of design work. In reality there is very minimum graphic design work done in studio. You are then paid less than minimum graphic design wage but promised possible career advancements and raises in the interview stage. - I was there for 3 years and told no each time I brought it up. I also had to ask as no one would come to me about it. When I asked to be compensated for design work I was doing for clients I was told by the company's Marketing Manager that it's not in my contract that I do design therefore aren't able to request raises for graphic design. I have never experienced such an anti-employee/human CEO and workplace before.
