Mid sized firm that allows for individual attention with a senior engineer. Projects vary from rehab, forensics, and new buildings.
Cons
A company where work overrides your health and family. Witnessed employees and former employees mentally breaking down at this firm. Higher ups are more concerned with getting as many projects as they can without the necessary manpower to cover it so subsequently employees are subjected to ridiculous hours. Majority of Associates and Senior Engineers are helpful, but a few bad apples there who degrade you on your lack of knowledge straight out of college. I've witness people cry at this place. Associates have been disciplined in the past for their poor teaching and mentoring skills. A few of the higher ups have been disciplined for this as well. Low salary, but 1 1/2 x overtime pay. High school cliquey type of office culture. They only hire entry level and the retention rate after 4 years is very low. More often than not, people leave this firm within the first few years.
