Micromanaging problem from the top that trickles down to all levels which leads to a feeling of distrust in more junior staff. Most senior associates still have to have their manager review their emails before they are sent. Top heavy - lots of senior managers and above which makes it feel like a dead end. Remote workers get a far better deal than NYC based workers. Number of years of experience does not seem to be a factor in pay which can be frustrating. Have experienced retaliation for providing honest feedback.
