Pros

NONE, I would have given a ZERO if I could!

Cons

EVERYTHING about the company is corrupt. Sales department is underpaid and used like a old rag. analysts are underpaid in NY, they let some people go remote and not others. They talk about having a great company culture but all i see is work drama and firing people for no reason. DO NOT DO business with them. there borrowers wait forever to get documents needed to close, so many other companies to borrow money from why would you use this company?

Pros

Some great team members, a good business concept (if it was run properly/ethically). The founders have vast real estate experience and knowledge, and an inspiring backstory. Pro/Con - depends how you feel about DT: The two founders admire and emulate the leadership style of Donald Trump.

Cons

The Davoodi patriarchs of the company have quick tempers and fragile egos, leading to abrupt and immature decisions made during emotional outbursts. The men dismiss staff publicly, on a whim, withhold payment from employees, bully, etc. Sharestates/Atlantis staff remains on its toes because the two founders moods change rapidly. Thanks to the founders' unrelenting hard work, they have had success over the years in real estate. Unfortunately because they do not have the experience to lead a technology company, the Davoodi's make choices that hurt the crowdfunding side of the business. They cut corners, choose cheap (scammy) providers, etc. Reputable startup investment platform, SeedInvest, withdrew its fund's commitment to Sharestates, as well as discouraged its community from investing in Sharestates after it was "discovered that Sharestates had begun distributing quarterly management bonuses using cash they were generating through normal course of operations." Other cons are too serious to be mentioned here.
