Pros

Company does great work for the surrounding area You have a direct positive impact and people can be so kind and grateful for it Positive work environment Small company so you get to know everyone pretty quickly

Cons

Sometimes inconsistent hours Very physical job where you lift 30lb boxes regularly, sometimes up to 80lb boxes if they're packed poorly when you pick them up

Great Mission, Terrible Management

Pros

The mission is inspiring, thats about it.

Cons

The most disorganized and exhausting environments I’ve ever worked in. Leadership sets unrealistic expectations, communication is inconsistent and flat out mean, and role turnover is high for a reason. Management constantly micromanaged minor details while ignoring bigger operational issues. Employees are expected to read minds and mimic tones of those who don't want to write their own emails, operate in constant urgency, and somehow execute perfectly with little guidance or structure. Leaders are condescending and rude. The mission is meaningful, but passion only goes so far when leadership lacks organization, boundaries, and people-management skills.
