Pros

Not many cranky customers. Most guests tipped well. You can usually predict when a rush would happen.

Cons

You were suppose to be full time but the management expected you out by Noon even if the last customers to leave, left a hour after closing. Pay was really low and the manager would make you do more than required.

Pros

Most of our guests and clients are friendly and nice.

Cons

Shilo Inns has good clients but horrible leaders. Our managers here are extremely toxic, and employees receive awful and sometimes inhumane treatment from them. Aside from the terrible pay, the pervasive verbal abuse and harassment from our managers make most of us here want to quit.

Pros

The property had some friendly long-terms guests.

Cons

I was promised consistent full time hours during hiring, but my schedule was constantly cut back without explanation. This inconsistency made it impossible to budget or plan ahead financially. Whenever I tried to address it, I was given vague excuses or told to "be flexible" while others mysteriously got priority shifts. It created an unstable, unpredictable work environment that affected both my income and my mental health.
