Where do I start and where do I end? The founders have zero understanding of advertising or digital. Advertising for them is make a 3Cr TVC with an A lister and then ramble about that for years to come. Is it necessary? Who cares. Does it do anything for the brand? Beyond the point. As long as the CEO gets to post a picture with the A lister. Also success only revolves around the CEO here. Everyone else is irrelevant. Sometimes he knows more than the brands business than the brand knows itself, so who better to market them right? ;) And the last line will be a bit controversial but I’m gonna say it anyway because of how completely misled I was when I joined. All the scripts of every big film the agency ever did was written by the ceo himself. Zero craft knowledge. Zero understanding of anything as long as he gets his picture.
