Pros

Remote work, broad experience opportunity, work with great clients when they stick around, most don’t.

Cons

The company struggles to retain employees, extremely high turn over, the San Diego “leadership” pits people against each other, if you can get into a core few which are favored, then your chances increase for the better, They have the classic Clients vs Internal Operations troubles. The client turn over is also very high, hard to establish a pace or routine when people and clients are always changing. Save yourself from a short term resume history.

Thank you for your comments. At Signature Analytics, we believe in transparency and we are committed to sharing all of our Key Performance Indicators, such as employee retention and tenure statistics, with our team each month during our All Hands meetings. We extend this same transparency to candidates during the interview process. Your comments about leadership favoritism and the work environment are deeply concerning and we strongly encourage you to share your concerns with a member of HR or Executive Leadership.

Pros

Great exposure to different industries, great learning opportunities to advance your career in accounting; great group of people to work with; Continuing to grow as a company

Cons

Flexible schedules, but still a client service company so there can be strict deadlines from clients; You do not get to choose your schedule so sometimes you may have a few difficult clients as part of your portfolio of clients

Pros

The frustration of working for this poorly managed company is felt and shared amongst all employees, allowing for a network helping each other to get out to find other employment opportunities.

Cons

1) Deceptive and unethical recruiting tactics. 2) Corporate management is made up of stereotypical awkward accountants that lack communication skills and general knowledge on how to run a business. 3) The company isn't actually growing, employees are bailing and the constant openings are marketed as "We're hiring again! Can't keep up with client demand". 4) High client turnover. 5) Bonuses are promoted as a given, by are hard to achieve as they are based on billable hours, but there are not enough hours to go around. 6) Questionable client billing practices.

Thank you for your feedback. It is unfortunate that you had such a negative experience working at Signature Analytics. We work really hard to create a culture where people are happy coming to work every day and do amazing things for our clients. I think we have done a great job, however there is always room for improvement. Being one of San Diego Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in 2017 was a huge honor and milestone for us because it was determined by anonymous reviews and scores from current employees. Also, we have been one of San Diego's fastest growing private companies for two years in a row and made the Inc. 5000 list two years in a row. Both are determined by a third parties’ analysis of our financials. So be assured, we are growing:) I wish you luck in your next opportunity and hope that you are able to find a role that makes you happy.
