Pros

Most of the people and the CFO are very nice.

Cons

I wish zero stars was an option. - Teamwork needs a LOT of improvement. Some people have the “I’m too good for this” attitude and won’t even answer your questions. - You won’t be doing much to do with sales. Most of the workload is stuff that people in other departments usually do. - Small company so the health insurance is very expensive. - Very immature environment. Yes, it is relaxed but think along the lines of middle school/ high school in maturity. - Without going into detail, as a POC the language used made me uncomfortable every day. - Manager expects you to play teacher’s pet. I mentioned in an email that people don’t know what teamwork is in our department, and she turned it into WW3. I had to attend a meeting that turned into the CEO Eric belittling and insulting me. Yes, the CEO of the company. The CEO said that although he’s never looked at my resume, he believes I have no idea what teamwork is and that it is not putting up a tent with girls at Summer camp (I’ve never been to Summer camp by the way), that I have no idea how a business works (I’m also a business owner registered in NJ), and that I should take the weekend to think about if I actually wanted to work there. Since when did this become appropriate behavior in the workplace? And from the CEO of all people. Avoid this place! Looks are deceiving.

Pros

Fun environment in terms of people. The product is interesting if you've never done it before. Less stress from other jobs I've had.

Cons

Unless you are management, no one takes you seriously. No room for growth. Be prepared to not receive yearly reviews nor any type of criticism so when something happens don't be too shocked that it has because you will never be approached. No professionalism, no team work, no time management, not organized. Top management having arguments out in the open. Manager level arguing with the President and yelling at the President of the company - at any other company that wouldn't fly. No HR, no major structure or rules.

Pros

Friendly staff minus for management. Cool product.

Cons

Mangement is constantly arguing in the public space which is highly unprofessional and creates a strange environment for everyone unless you become numb to it with years of employment here. Fair to say the layout of the office is not efficient and the company has grown out of their office space but we still sit like sardines in a can. The sales dept, has the most turnover, pending the luck of the straw of which team is hiring, you’re either blessed or doomed. You know it’s bad when you have to write positive reviews to increase your companies’ ratings so you don’t scare off potential prospects. Constructive criticism is none existent, nor is the sense of professionalism. Half of the employees don’t actually do any work, majority of the time, you’re browsing the web hoping management doesn’t catch you because you’re bored and don’t have any work to do.
