Worst boss/sales department in my entire career

Cons

Senior Sales Management has no respect for team or people who report to them. Cancels 3 out of every 4 one-on-one meetings. Ignores or puts down my comments or suggestions. Never spent any time training me.

Firstly, we thank you for your contributions to SilverCloud. We are sorry that your experience did not meet up to your expectations. As a growing company, we have experienced some growing pains and have taken a number of steps to improve not only the employee experience, but the communication mechanisms available to employees. We have a bi-monthly anonymous surveys that are reviewed with our executive team and then shared within the department meetings. We have also setup formal reviews that include 360 degree feedback, as well an open door policy with our CEO and HR. Our sales team conducts biweekly training sessions attended by all sales members that are encouraged to participate. Our sales process has been and will continue to improve based on the feedback from our sales staff.

I have a great manager who challenges and supports me. I feel that the mission is central to the work. We work with mission-driven customers, and we're focused on meeting their needs. Flexible work, lots of systems in place to support work-life balance. It's fun to work with people from all over the country and the world.

Cons

There are always growing pains at the stage where a small company is becoming a medium one. Every now and then there's a big mess to clean up, but people take care of it constructively without throwing each other under the bus.

The people at this company are amazing. My boss and co-workers give me the support and guidance I need. I was provided with any equipment I needed to work efficiently from home, no questions asked. Everyone is happy. I'm excited to log on each day and feel fulfilled at day's end.
