Pros

- CEO that cares deeply about people, cutlture and customers - A product that is easy to work with and champion in the industry - Fantastic team culture and an organisation wide desire to work and grow together - Even though I am alone in a city remote, the global team engages to ensure you are still part of the team

Cons

- As a startup we have to slowly get information out of peoples heads and documented for everyone. -Like any global company, we are needing to resource globally to ensure we minimise lag time for internal needs

Pros

The company is growing at a fast rate and is not slowing down. This is the place to be if you want to be a part of an organization revolutionizing identity protection in cyber security.

Cons

Every startup will have areas that are a work in progress. Processes that must be established and refined, and tribal knowledge that needs to be documented, to name a few. Even so, large companies also struggle with these. So either you see this as an opportunity to step up, grow and learn, or defer to an established workplace.

Pros

good touchy-feely work life balance the tech is really good

Cons

Senior sales leaders are ruthless. They have displayed a repetitive pattern of hiring good, experienced sales people, then cutting them off at the knees just as they are about to hit their stride. No warning, no feedback, just "you don't fit here - you are fired". Saw this happen to 4 people in less than a year. The CEO talks a good game about how important culture is, how the people are his most valuable resource. But at the end of the day, it's like a high school click group and if the SVP of sales decides he no longer likes you, you are done. If you can't "switch hit" between driving large, strategic, 7 figure deal cycles while at the same time cold-calling 3hrs a day for $20k SMB deals that the commercial team should be driving, they thing something is wrong with you. Good luck with that model. Finally, If you are applying for sales, ask how many reps hit accelerators last year. My best guess is it will be less that 10% company-wide.
