Disengaging Culture and Micro-Management

Pros

Convenient location in the city, building management is good.

Cons

Departments work in silos. Despite the many unclear meetings without agenda between business units, they continue to conflict and compete with each other instead of remembering that they are part of the same company. People are disrespectful and there is a clique-culture. Not open to any new or innovative ideas, yet they take risks where they aren't warranted, or at least made clear to the people who are working on the initiatives or directly impacted by the changes.

Monthly birthdays - free food Great location Some nice people (that also dislike working at Simply Energy - good to bond over this) Nice view

Cons

Culture is appalling - worst I have ever seen Everyone just in it for themselves, no care for anyone else aside from getting ahead. Bad behavior is rewarded with promotions. Zero development or training. Trying to weasel people out of their bonus. Bums in seats culture (no work from home, unless you are a senior leader)
