Pros
Less bureaucracy compared to other similar size/type companies.
Cons
No chance of professional growth at all and will spend doing same task for years. No time to invest in learning new things (Although in paper you are allowed to have some "educational day" but you seldom get a chance to use them). Your responsibility keeps on increasing because other employee consistently leave for better work place whereas you are just expected to take the responsibility of leaving collegue without complaining. Pay is very low compared to similar task in other companies (Okay for first few year of your career). If asked for pay increase, almost always some internal budgeting issue is mentioned and you rarely get pay increase. If you are the lucky one to get pay raise, increase is almost always less than 1 (one) percent and will automatically make you ineligible for "future raise" for few years. If asked to change position (basically job title), a default answer from management is that you dont have "enough experience" (although you are basically doing the same job everyday) to have that title (and associated small pay raise) and need to work for another X year to have that title and pay. Recent, employee turnover is very high and lot of experiened people(who were there since begining of company) quit the company because of some of the above reasons and in general dissatisfaction with upper management.
