The part where I left

Owner told me she wanted me to run the entire company, be in charge of all contact with clients and manage website completion. I only got paid $16 an hour and she was no where to be seen. I even went weeks not getting paid and of course during Christmas. We had horrible working conditions and anytime someone would quit it was okay because ‘they weren’t apart of the family’. I was required to complete many UNPAID networking events and would even be checked on to make sure I attended. I also somehow was pulled into an office and reprimanded because a married manager was having an affair with a client. This was an awful place to work and I can only hope things have improved but I highly doubt it.

Leaving this company was the best decision I ever made for my career and mental health

Cons

- CEO (A) is a narcissistic person who has literally no marketing experience but treats the team as incompetent - They gaslight you and use fear tactics to keep you “motivated” - The pay is ridiculous, cheapskates cut existing hourly rates in exchange for insurance - You will not be producing quality work because management will end up trashing everything if it’s not something they want for themselves
