Full of disappointment and frustration

Pros

Some coworkers are really nice and treat me like family but some just pretend to be nice. It is those nice people that make my staying there less terrible.

Cons

I am not proud of working here at all. I feel so weak when I am asked where you are working. The organization makes changes based on one to three people’s decisions without taking any others opinions into consideration. This place doesn’t help me with my professional growth and career development. I am disappointed because I don’t see myself making any progress in my professional area. The culture doesn’t support my health and wellbeing. I don’t think everyone is treated fairly here because the impolite and arrogant CEO never responds to my greetings. I am frustrated because my job doesn’t allow me to utilize my strengths. I am not inspired or motivated by the work we do and I don’t feel any excitement while working here. The company structure is a mess and they never manage to stick to the timeline with their low efficiency. Thus the projects take forever to finish.

Pros

If you want to work for a company that puts your bonus in your bank account and then takes it out 5-days later, this place is for you! This company is rife with problems and that’s the reason they hire and fire as seen in past reviews. There is a lack of CEO focus, a lot of indecisiveness and zero trust in the team around him. The other owner who is not mentioned in reviews is terrible too, and if you work for him, good luck. Several years of consistent turnover under that guy and shuffling of accounts. Crazy reckless unnecessary decisions were made during covid that practically bankrupted the company and resulted in laying off 3/4 of staff 2 weeks before Christmas. The owners bought a mask company on a whim, smack dab in the middle of covid, with zero experience selling this type of product during a time they should have been fiscally conservative to try and preserve as much staff and dollars. If you care anything about your health, do not work at this company. They do not care about mask wearing or health and safety of employees. They pushed us to come back into the office without proper safety measures setup. If you are reading this review and have decided to go elsewhere, you’ve dodged a bullet. If you are reading this and are unemployed, staying unemployed longer and choosing to go somewhere else is the best bet. The only pro was how smart and great co-workers were, but they let everyone go.

Cons

Pros

They have a very well stocked kitchen, fridge, and snack area for all employees. Even a good selection of teas. A very nice component to the office.

Cons

EVERYTHING this company does is by the seat of its own pants. Always has been, and as long as the current founders are running the show, always will be. There is no vision. No forecasting. No market analysis. They restructure the company every few months because nobody has any idea how to run the company. I think the most simple way to put it is this: if you were to ask a question to all employees "is this company run well?" the ONLY people who may answer yes are: 1. the founders of the company 2. anyone with their own office because they get paid enough to hide their true feelings towards the company 3. anyone who knew one of the founders from the previous company they all worked at and came from so they've known each other for years and years and don't want to give an open/honest opinion. this "coincidentally" also aligns with several people who fall into category # 2... So so so so much work by every department is just thrown out the window because there is only one opinion that matters in the whole company and he (understandably) is not able to review the work in its infant stages. Often work is shown when it is completed, and then simply scrapped. And then deadlines aren't met. And then the company complains when everything is late. And then they laugh about it. And then do the same thing over, and over, and over again.
