Pros

You can gain quite a broad range of experience, as there are all kinds of areas of work to do with or for the company.

Cons

Like most work places in America, there is discrimination against certain groups. If you know, you know. Preventable disorganization caused by management or owners often results in hourly employees taking the fall, whether it be irate customers, excess damage control, etc. Solutions to ongoing problems are often promised, but either never actually occur or occur years later than promised.

Pros

The money was really good on most events and my co-workers were amazing!

Cons

The management was pretty bad after a few management changes. At first they were great too, but after the changes the managers became completely disconnected from the staff. Also, outside of the events the money is extremely inconsistent. Winter months are not only very slow, but the outdoor bar stays open and management will expect you to stay front and center while you freeze, as they sit in the warm office. On the flip side, the summers are extremely hot and I’ve watched multiple co-workers pass out from the heat.
