Pros
If you are just starting out, you will get more responsibility and an inflated title faster than you could get anywhere else. But be careful. The lack of resources and sink or swim mentality sets you up to fail, which almost certainly harms your reputation more than it helps.
Cons
The pay is terrible. The owner is proud of the fact that he can find people who would rather help cities than make anything remotely close to market wages. You don't get to help anyone. The company makes promises it can't keep. Industry partners and cities are initially excited to work with you, but they go away disappointed. The company operates like a get rich quick scheme. Priorities change week to week and everybody and everything are ultimately treated as disposable.
