      Creative freedom and fun projects, but low pay and few benefits

      Pros

      Smart Marketing gave me a lot of creative freedom with access to the latest camera gear and worked with a lot of fun and cool projects.

      Cons

      Pay is below industry standard no benefits only 3 sick days and 5-8 PTO days even though the company grew really grew employee benefits and pay remain pretty much stagnant.

      Pros

      There is a lot to learn when at Smart Marketing. Due to the fact that it is startup company, you are cross trained in every department not just the one you're hired for. The people that work there are all very nice as well and you get to work with some great clients.

      Cons

      Pay is way below industry median, bare minimum of PTO days, only 3 sick days which is below NJ law, boss doesn't respect the employees, the house has mold. CEO does a lot of things by finding a loophole which many seem illegal. Only hires people fresh out of college so he can underpay them because he knows they're desperate for a job. He does not listen to anyone's opinion but his own so don't bother speaking up or you will get gaslit. Many employees have left already and he doesn't realize he's the problem. This is just a quick summary of how atrocious the CEO is to the employees. The CEO drives around with his Mclaren, but pays his employees around $18 an hour.
