I have been working at Soar Aviation full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The staff are amazing, management are great and encourage everyone to input new ideas for a better experience for all. The fleet is mostly brand new with many various aircraft types. I have come through as a former student and now a flight instructor who went onto work full time immediately after gaining my qualifications here at Soar. A new career immediately upon completion, I could'nt have asked for much more than that.

    Cons

It is a busy flight school with lots happening each day, never a dull moment but if you thrive on being a busy person, you will have no con's to post here.

I worked at Soar Aviation full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I am deeply grateful to the management of Soar allowing me the experience as a instructor with Asian ethnicity in getting job in australia is hard and soar management trust me in giving this opportunity. Brand new planes and very valuable and quick progression from G3 to G1. Safety was never a problem and especially thanks to maintenance crew in having great turnaround of aircraft.

    Cons

Instructors required to work on public holidays but allowed TIL Or paid overtime

    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at Soar Aviation

    Pros

Learning that you don’t make CEO and millions of dollars though following ethical business practices and providing an exceptional student experience. You do it through cutting corners at every opportunity and put numbers before safety and quality of training.

    Cons

Being micromanaged, bullied, harassed, working excessive hours without pay and dodgy sales practices. Anything to get students numbers. Working for a money hungry CEO that has zero ethics or morals.

I have been working at Soar Aviation part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Soar Aviation is an entrepreneurial environment and therefore the opportunity to learn and expand your horizons is fantastic. The business is fast paced, rapidly expanding and always trying new and innovative ways to improve and grow.

    Cons

The challenges are similar to those of any small business that has grown quickly and become very successful quickly. Sometimes the systems and processes are not there yet, but this is also an advantage for employees who enjoy an environment where they can have input here.
