I was associated with the company for several years. It is hard to find any Pros about it however let me try. - Compensation is okay-to-good. Their formula for laterals is straight. Number of years multiplied by 2 lacs. For example: If someone is 3 years of experience, s/he could strike a deal at 6 lac.
Cons
Oh yes - There are many. - Completely unprofessional environment. - One example is : Salary happens on 7th of every month. The reason - Well, the reason is Founders of SoftDEL come from Manufacturing background and years back Manufacturing companies of Pune were paying salaries on 7th. - Strict control over personal activities (such as how many times one goes to washroom, how many times one takes personal calls on cell phones etc.) - There is no single person who can take firm decision. Everything happens 'at wish' and 'at mercy' of their founding members. - Pay may seem high BUT it is a trap. - There is very dirty cafeteria. Every senior member of Management team brings their own water since most of them come by car. - Saturday is a working day ! - Please get this clarified at the time of interview process. - There is a Bond (for a year / 6 months / 3 months etc.) and the conditions in the bond include "deactivation of LinkedIn profile" and "in-active" status in Job Sites. They feel very insecure if one is looking for job ! - Strong adherence to 'Sir' 'Madam' culture.
