Supportive managers but high workload and coordination issues
Pros
Helpful managers and positive inter-department working environment
Cons
The workload is relatively high compared to the compensation offered. While collaboration within certain departments is generally positive, cross-departmental teamwork can be challenging at times. Many Project Engineers and Project Managers do not come from an electrical engineering background, which can create communication and coordination difficulties when dealing with technical electrical matters. This often results in additional effort being required to align understanding on fundamental engineering concepts. For LSS projects specifically, there appears to be room for improvement in project management capabilities and processes. Additionally, the company tends to assign engineering titles to individuals without formal engineering backgrounds, which may create inconsistencies in technical expectations and responsibilities.
