Pros

Remote work. Comparable salary to other agencies based on position. If you're early or at a mid-point in your career, the type of brands they work on are great portfolio builders.

Cons

Expect to work long days and weekends often. Your experience and the working style can be totally different depending on what team you work on and who your manager is. Despite "collaboration" being a tenant of the company, do not expect to collaborate with others on much if anything. They simply don't bake it into the process. There's a lot of pressure put on DD's to review and create work with little to no help during a project.

Pros

- "Big Name" clients - Working remote - Generous PTO - Good yearly review structure

Cons

- Higher up management is not very transparent about anything within the company which can be difficult/confusing. - Turn around times for projects could be insanely fast, then followed by lulls with nothing to do. - Unwilling to put in the proper care and thought into DEI initiatives.

Pros

The work you contribute to will get a lot of eyes on it. If this is all you care about, consider working here!

Cons

Terrible culture. I assume the reason why there are so few bad reviews is because the company requires you to sign an NDA with vague but scary legal language in it. Terrible diversity. Not a single Black person worked here the whole time I was employed. I counted exactly one person of color out of 80 employees on my first day. Terrible work-life balance. People openly talked about working nights and weekends. There is no overtime pay. Terrible working style. Overly reliant on pinterest and stock illustrations. Terrible communication. Feedback is vague and CDs expect you to be a mindreader. Onboarding is insufficient. No one explains any processes in full before you dive into them. Terrible approach to authorship. Rather than allowing a designer to see a project through from start to finish, they bounce you from project to project to project so no credit can be attributed to anyone but SoulSight.
