Pros

Good opportunity to work on high-level global projects.

Cons

- One of the main challenges within the company is the high employee turnover, which can sometimes affect team continuity, long-term planning, and knowledge retention. While the company offers interesting projects and valuable international exposure, the frequent changes in staff may create instability across teams and processes. - In addition, for employees working outside the UK, compensation is often aligned to a salary scale that does not always feel competitive compared to local market standards, which may also contribute to retention challenges. - Another thing to consider is the working model for some international team members. Although the contract is structured as a freelance role, the role may still require fixed working hours, constant use of Slack as the main coordination platform, and execution of tasks under direct guidance. This can sometimes create ambiguity between the flexibility typically associated with freelance work and the expectations of a more structured employee role. - As the role is structured as freelance, there is no end-of-contract compensation, and no social security or employment benefits are provided. While this may be expected under a freelance arrangement, it can feel limiting when the role’s expectations closely resemble those of a full-time employee.
