Pros

-Working in a luxury environment with a high-quality product to be proud of and represent. -The majority of the staff is very friendly and helpful. -Good experience to add to a hospitality-focused resumé. -Employee cafeteria, healthcare benefits, and discounted room rates. -Direct managers are excellent and very hands-on!

Cons

-Upper management seems extremely shady and it gives me the ICK that the CEO and VPO are dating?? Unprofessional and, in most places, a conflict of interest. -30% discount only towards food when dining in the restaurants for employees is a joke. The restaurant staff works extremely hard to provide the level of service that they do and it’s absurd to offer such a low discount AND not permit anyone to drink the coffee that often gets poured out, anyway. -I was told when hired that my uniform would be both provided AND laundered for me. Not only did they not provide a full uniform but they’ve also recently decided to stop providing laundry service. Extremely frustrating to now have to budget money for an iron & ironing board that I wouldn’t have purchased otherwise and to budget TIME for pressing my clothes when I have minimal spare time as it is. -The lack of transparency surrounding tips despite recent reassurance/meetings to clear up confusion is also off-putting. We should be able to know exactly how much we’re making each night and not have to wait a week or more for a financial report.

Pros

SOME coworkers were great. Some made it difficult to enjoy working there, but they were by and large eliminated in my first week. The Guest Services team were honestly the best in the building and were one big reason I enjoyed showing up every day. Glassdoor asks if you’d refer this company to a friend- I wouldn’t even suggest it to an enemy.

Cons

The position you accept will not be the position you work. The pay is under market for the sheer amount of time you’ll spend absolutely buried beneath and having to brute force your way through inefficiencies in the operation.

Pros

Cool property and so much potential.

Cons

The CEO and executive are dating which leads to them firing anybody that disagrees with them. They’ve shown that hard work and loyalty means nothing. You bend the knee or you’re gone. Tips and wages never seem to match up and HR and management couldn’t care less. On top of that this place is making money by the truckload yet they take a percentage of our tips for the house. This is the shadiest, greediest company I’ve ever worked for. Threatened to fire us if they heard us talking about a situation that happened at work. Wouldn’t recommend ANYONE to work here. You’ll be treated like dirt.
