      It would have been the coffee, but they took that away.

      Cons

      Falling apart after the former CEO left and vision was abandoned. A bunch of small broken manufacturing companies.

      Interesting products,challenging work, very capable engineering staff

      Cons

      Management purports to use data to make decisions, however, most are made based on personality of the presenter. Backbiting, and working outside the chain of command are the rule of the day since a re-organization that has resulted in less communication and "silo-ing" of responsibilities.

      Pros

      I work in the Deleon Springs Engineering department. Sparton products are very interesting to work on because they cover most engineering disciplines. The pay is competitive for the area. Sparton has a family friendly work environment with flexible work hours. There are a lot of smart people here and everyone seems very willing to help out and work together as a team.

      Cons

      Commute from the Orlando area is a bit long, but the traffic is usually not too bad (because most of the traffic is going in the opposite direction).
