      Beware of any contract company involved with Spectrum

      Pros

      There are not any. I would give 0 stars if I could.

      Cons

      They underbid contracts in order to win the government healthcare staffing contracts. They offer employees who have been working at the facility for 20 plus years a paycut and reduction in PTO. They hire smaller companies to do the dirty work of telling the employees that they will need to take a paycut or leave ex: Kuhana, Distinctive healthcare, Kakoo.

      Pros

      Spectrum Healthcare Resources were very supportive of me in terms of expressed needs with documenting time on my time sheet when I happened to forget to enter my time or questions about benefits. When there was a problem between co-workers they provided a survey to gather information from each person individually.

      Cons

      I think the most unfortunate situation with Spectrum Healthcare Resources revolves around the contract that was in place between Spectrum Healthcare Resources and the company they contacted with for my services. When an issue arose there was no recourse in disputing the request that I be removed from the contract. No warnings, no counseling. Totally unfair treatment for an employee who had served for 12 plus years and had no history of problems previously.

      Unethical and Awful Employer

      Average salary, but nothing competitive

      Cons

      Do not work for SHR. They are unethical, uncaring, and are liars. They are unresponsive to communication, and never put anything in writing - do not believe anything they say to you verbally: they will not reimburse for relocation, their benefits (through TeamHealth) are not competitive, the health insurance didn't cover anything, and we'd have to submit claims 2,3 times before they would be processed. SHR exploits their employees, as well as their contract companies. The US Govt should never give them another dime. They make a profit off of taxpayers' dollars, collect money from Govt for their offered services, then don't deliver. Their attrition rate among contractors is exorbitant because they are so horrible to work for - but they don't care because they have already collected their money from the Government.
