Senior management are all over the place, poorly organised and inconsistent in defining business demands, forecasting etc. Poor salary structure & work life balance, leaves a lot to be desired (i.e. Stanmore Quality Surfacing ltd, is a family run, roller-coaster business at best).

My review only relates to the Brought Green Depot : I have worked from some bad firms but this place is high on the place to AVOID. The Management approach everything like cowbows , all i waiting to see is the horse tied outside the rooms . Management is very Micromanaged , that only leave their offices to come down to belittle staff already stressed and unresourced . I saw it first hand how staff are stress overworked and have a multitude of problems , management are not interested in details they just want results without trying to identify problems . Management Approach to the gangs and staff is ' replaceable' i witness management dismissing staff with no probably cause other than to just have them replaced . The staff whilst i was there all complained how management have been made aware of issue they fail to act. Staff on average work 8-10 hours all complaining of no over time or little to no pay increase or appreciation. Management threatened gangs bespite being in breach of their contract conditions. The facilities on site are below sub standard to for any environment , make any petrol garage look like a 4 star hotel. Poor welfare and overall cleanliness , offices are dated and not maintained. The IT facilities are old and no fully functional. Operation Staff have no been fully trained on how to optimism their systems or faws . Jobs going out are always late or overrun or missed. There is no real leadership resent for daily operation , management only appear when issues arise this very reactive than proactive in light on common know issues. If you have any respect for your own worth , dont join this depot
