Star has well above average pay for technicians, a competitive pay package, and good benefits. There is no weekend work. The environment is clean and kept up well. Customer happiness is a priority.

The Covid period was challenging because driving, and therefore, auto repair needs were down.
Total disaster as far as management. Lack of equipment. Frame rack is missing parts, paint both is only a prep booth. Not a lot of area to work. Lots of turnover of employees. Not a lot of work

There was some truth in the reviewer’s comments. We recently added collision repair to our mechanical repair business and our collision revenue has grown quickly--but perhaps we grew too fast. Since that review was done, we have changed management of the collision division, implemented a new collision management system (CCC1) which is helping to improve organization and work flow, and we have added some equipment including parts for the frame rack. We also added a parts mezzanine to make more room for the collision staff to work. We now have an outstanding team, and are on track again. Come check us out!
