The SDI management did not listen to the voices of anyone else besides other Korean nationals. Being a manager, the hourly SDI trainer had more say in the business than myself. Every other nationality other than Korean is treated as a second-class citizen.
The engineers that I worked with were some of the most intelligent engineers that I have ever worked with. Those engineers left the company due to mistreatment.
HR is the worst that I have ever witnessed. If you should have a problem, don’t expect it to be solved. As a matter up fact, just expect that problem to be swept under the rug.
The safety culture is terrible. SDI members regularly bypass safety standards to complete tasks. I was told many times to skirt the safety regulations in place.
