Pros

People are usually pretty willing to help each other out, as far as they're able to.

Cons

Upper management tends to look down on team members. Little appreciation is shown for positive effort, but mistakes are quickly pointed out and made public to the rest of the company.

Pros

There was a lot of room to specialize. The boss is big into declaring somebody to be a particular product expert. If you want to do 95% magento work, it could be a great opportunity. You are also expected to occasionally work over 40 hours in a week but it is not the norm.

Cons

The hounds seemed to be continually at the door. The boss is continually hammering you to keep your weekly billable time high, with the threat of being laid-off not only implied but explicitly stated. This isn't something that a non-sales person can necessarily do anything about. The boss is strict about your shift starting at 8:00, lunch going from 12:00 to 1:00, and your shift ending at 5:00. He is also strict about things like not eating food at your computer. Telecommuting is not allowed and your movements during the day are watched to an extent. The health benefits and paid time off are a bit stingy. I think that goes back to the issue of the hounds being continually at the door.
