Swirling down the drain

Pros

The company will hire entry-level journalists. Most of the editors and reporters really care about journalism. There is a sense of camaraderie among reporters.

Cons

Cost-cutting and inane corporate agendas, such as Gannett’s “Picasso” strategy, have ruined this place. There is zero job security, and the pay and benefits aren't great.

Pros

Good Middle Management but they are stuck under the direction of a bad upper management.

Cons

Hostile work environment which is caused by new upper management. The organization manages people out if you question or give any resistance to the ad directory. There is a no jerk policy for the employees which is not help up in upper management. The upper management in this organization is know for bait and switch to get what they want from there employees.
