Honesty is not the policy.

Pros

Great people to work with. The front line staff are great people, they're honest and hard working for the most part.

Cons

Dishonest management. The opportunity for advancement is not really there. Very high attrition. They make promises during the interview/hiring process that they don't follow through with in the end.

Honesty is most certainly our policy. Everyone is told that the sky's the limit for advancement during the interview/hiring process, but it has to be earned. There is no promise of advancement based on the time worked, but there is plenty of opportunity for advancement with exceptional employee performance.

What you hear isn't what you get

Pros

Most of the people that work there are good people and are the reason for the success they have had. Very Busy so the day flies by pretty fast.

Cons

Upper Managements back stabbing is out of control. If you are not in a meeting, you will be crucified no matter who you are and what your job is. No one is special. If you aren't there you will be talked about and not in a good way either. They are very "Plastic". Seeing what they do to new potential employees is NOT right either. If you are over 35 years old your resume will go right in the trash without being reviewed-- NO MATTER your skill level.

Innovation relies on employee participation. I am not sympathetic to those who miss meetings without communicating with the rest of the team. Unapproved absences is a problem that gets addressed at Steal Network and is not something we ignore. I am skeptical this person worked for Steal Network because everyone here knows over 30% of our staff are over 35. The owners may look like their under 35 ;), but are both over 40. We have a very diverse set of employees ranging from 18 to over 60. Furthermore, applicants don't put their age on their resume so I'm not sure how we could trash them based on that. We hire based on skill, knowledge, and experience. We do not discriminate based on age, race, gender or sexual orientation.

Big ideas, but no trust

Pros

This company has great ideas for how to reach and service customers.

Cons

This company does not trust it's expert employees to take it to the next level. Additionally, the internal politics stop employees from really going for the stars.

Trust is a big deal at Steal Network. Many of the employees have flexible work schedules which would not be possible without a great deal of trust. This company has plenty of issues and challenges, but micromanagement isn't one of them. The only thing keeping employees from reaching their true potential is the employee themselves. Many of our top management staff have risen through the ranks through persistence and hard work. We have a great track record of advancement within the company, but it does require the employee to be truly exceptional. It is true that we move fast and sometimes miss opportunities to show individual appreciation. We will try to do better - thank you for that feedback.
