Pros

I was here just under 3 years before I left, this place has the special sauce and if it weren't for covid and this ugly new world I might still be here. 1.) Awesome executive team. They are just really good people and actually lead by example. Obviously everyone has flaws, me too, but these guys are great. I learned a lot from them that I'll take new places. 2.) Super transparent, you know where you and literally everyone stands at all times (many people may not like this especially if you can't hang in the top 50%) 3.) Really fantastic training on cold calling and recruiting 4.) Superb name and reputation in the engineering/mfg field for a good reason 5.) Ultra visible CEO that you can literally meet and talk to. President is also the bomb. 6.) The best company onboarding process I've ever seen- welcome basket, lunches with whole executive team so you get to know everyone. This is really just #1 repeated but many places lack this and had to point it out. The all around culture here is just like this. 7.) Extremely rewarding work in the long run due to high number of permanent placement roles in literally the coolest jobs you can think of 8.) Dumb & fun team building stuff like wrapping yourself in a garbage bag for a pie eating contest. Race thru office obstacle course with an egg on a spoon. 9.) You can be an employee owner 10.) Manufacturing is cool and anyone can be passionate about it 11.) Money centric with oodles of convoluted commission, bonus, sweepstake, prize winning incentives structures etc - lots of care goes into this gimme that $20 12.) You get to visit really cool places

Cons

1.) Medium sized company = medium sized paycheck in almost all cases unless you are a Rockstar 2.) The set up and competitive nature of the company can pit people against each other in an unhealthy way, we should really all be friends 3.) Slower to catch up on technology and modern practices 4.) Base salary is pretty low especially with the insane inflation going on THESE days, a slight increase for all every year to show appreciation and more for top performers would be good 5.) Recruiting in general can be churn and burn - this place has it but it's a hard job and long run it really makes sense that the person that you taught to recruit would eventually recruit themselves if you think about it 6.) High stress - especially from your candidates antics on the job 7.) Quotas are built so that only a portion achieve them with the expectation everyone hits them 8.) Low time off, bad work/life balance can be a problem which can make some people really bitter as evidenced in reviews 9.) Not all company functions should be a requirement! 10.) Very rarely like once every year or so you may be given an unrealistic job to work on tell that hiring manager NO, GO AWAY WITH YOUR BAD JOB 11.) Ever changing - your seat will move, your beloved team will change, your manager may change......... or worse the ATS may change lol ☠💀 12.) Micro management or lack of trust can wear you down fast but its necessary

Pros

Some of the people were super genuine and great. They do provide a lot of sourcing materials. They do have fun activities which the staff puts on.

Cons

The end of year goal is almost impossible to hit... and if you don't hit it they still increase it. and they do not GIVE increases on salaries EVER.. So they under pay you and leave you there until you LEAVE. So good luck getting a raise... The managers are HELICOPTERS.. they make you fill out stupid reports The culture is very forced and HR does nothing about situations... NOTHING The managers play favorites and if you aren't a favorite...good luck. This company is super old fashioned and will make you work like a dog and will not appreciate you at all. They will make you feel guilty for not coming in on the weekends and staying late. PLEASE do not take their offer!
