Cons

As a part-time employee I found the experience stressful, with a lack of successful communication from senior staff.

Growing Pains

Pros

Great team of people and there’s always something happening in the office - social events, weekly sports, etc.

Cons

We’ve pretty much doubled in size over the last year, which is awesome. But nothing has been put in place to accommodate this; there are no processes or procedures. We ask time and again for things to be implemented to make it an easier environment to work in - more communication, better prioritised resourcing, etc. and nothing changes. We are told things will happen and they don’t. There is little communication between management and employees, and between teams. Feels like there is a lot of “going over people’s heads” happening.

Great people, growing pains

Pros

Amazing team and recent refocus on maintaining the small team/start-up culture. Very cool goals of helping the small businesses of the world get online, especially in certain industries. Being so small still means everyone can contribute to forming systems/processes.

Cons

Still a very young company so there are some big growing pains in terms of figuring out direction - goals that can then switch on a dime without much communication. No employee benefits other than doing it for the enjoyment of the mission.
