      Working at Strand is both interesting and challenging, with smart and fun colleagues. The work environment is dynamic, driven by engaging projects and a results-oriented approach. Success on well-performing accounts is highly rewarding. The company offers decent benefits and flexible with remote work. Despite some challenges, and job uncertainty, it is a stimulating place to work.

      Cons

      The company suffers from a lack of clear direction due to an excessive number of managers and a small support staff, leading to an anarchic atmosphere. This imbalance creates confusion over responsibilities, making it difficult to maintain consistency. The fate of an employee is directly tied to what account they're assigned. The company is quick to terminate employees when accounts face issues or contracts are not renewed. Prospective employees might consider negotiating project-specific contracts for added job security.       Pros

      A great group of talented, intelligent and collaborative people across the board. Strand is on an upward trajectory and is an outstanding place for motivated employees to carve out their own future. Leadership is extremely thoughtful in their approach to engaging with clients, employees and partners. Strand has curated something truly special through careful hiring, taking care of their team and nurturing professional growth. I am 20+ years into my career, having worked at companies big & small and this is by far the best mix of innovation, people and excitement that I have ever been a part of. Add in that the office is AMAZING and right on the beach.....it's tough to beat.

      Cons

      Some of the normal growing pains of a small organization that is eager to take on new challenges and learn along the way. Thankfully Strand learns quickly & is able to pivot fast enough to shore up any gaps.

      - It’s a very fast-paced environment, which can be overwhelming if you’re not wired for it - Because we’re still building the foundation while scaling, things can feel scrappy at times - Ambitious, self-motivated people thrive here — if you’re looking for “coast mode,” it’s probably not the place for you
