No one "wants" to work here

Pros

This is a place people wind up or use to escape from another employer. No one really wants to be here. Facts. -Cool work appropriate slogans like #LFG and #JustTheTip -You may get up to a 1 year guarantee so can float while looking for something better

Cons

-You will be fired, eventually -This company will fail, eventually -The GTM strategy will change every month -Land a big deal you can ride or you will be out -A consulting startup is the worst business idea ever (it was a VAR before Jan 2023) -Massive strain and angst with parent company SHI, frankly bizarre -Once your guarantee is up, you will never see another bonus You've been warned!

We appreciate your feedback. We regret that you were not satisfied with your work experience with us. Working in a company that is transitioning from startup to growth mode can be challenging for some people. Regarding your remarks on our company's performance, we want to explain that we are not struggling, but rather developing and improving. We have maintained annual growth, improved our market approach, and increased our customer base. We have moved beyond the startup phase, and have the benefit of being supported by SHI, which has grown to 14B in revenue over the last 30+ years. We wish you all the best in finding a company that matches your values and goals. Thank you for your service to our company and our mission.

Pros

SHI’s 3rd attempt at a professional services organization that doesn’t do technical installs. Bought it the first time. Failed. Tried to do it internally the second. Failed. Tried to do it a third with a recycled company name and a regional sales person from another integrator. Failed. After experiencing a ~75% reduction in force down to nothing but a bare bones cybersecurity managed services group, we were told we are THE PREMIER cyber security choice for the fortune 1000 in an email after the mass layoffs. We are about to lose the only “premier” client we have because we can’t deliver. We were the premier consulting org competing with all the big boys in the fortune 1000 just a few months ago, allegedly. When do the lies stop? The head of this place needs to finally figure out his facade isn’t really hiding anything any more. Dancing around stage pumping up his buddies, he’s fostered a culture of backbiting and toxicity. He surrounded himself with his cronies unaffectionately known as the midwest mafia. A pm placed as a wannabe cfo or coo. A sales engineer placed as vp of service delivery. Sales vp paid huge bonuses he bragged about and his region never sold anything. Sales rep given vp of security sales. Talk about promoting to the level of incompetency. It shows. The three executive delivery veterans that were not part of the mafia jumped ship around the beginning of the year and everything went south fast. They recognized the issues and ran when they couldn’t talking sense into the mafia. Afterwards, the service delivery vp was the steward of 5 different delivery organizations. All 5 failed under his "leadership". His claim to fame was he gets things done. Only thing he was able to do was fast track those people’s job loss. He told us it was because of a lack of leadership from our former leaders. Lack of leadership is right. His (and his buddy who gave him this role). Arrogance and incompetence has led to the demise to this dumpster fire and created a lot of hardships for the people who believed in the pomp and circumstance. *Decent base. Don't expect a bonus after your guarantee. We don't make money *Unlimited PTO.

Cons

Cons: *Chemical dumpster fire with no hope of surviving. *Zero vision or strategy *All the executives that knew what they were doing left in a hurry the last year

Pros

“Unlimited PTO” and working remote

Cons

Between the red tape, inept leadership to organizational change I can’t begin to explain the issues with this place. Extremely disorganized.
