Pros

NONE. I would not ever interview with this co again, terrible co

Cons

Mgr walked me off site due to no contract ever signed with BCBS. I quit a job to take this job and lost my prior job when I asked for it back. Really, really put me in a hard spot. Do not trust this company.

Pros

One time commission payments after 30 days

Cons

If you leave a recruiter or sales role, expect to get a Cease and desist letter and email in the mail once you land elsewhere, they in no way want you competing against any of their territories, they have in-house counsel who are a real treat to work with, so there will be LinkedIn trolling to see what your working on and multiple threatening emails of how S3 will file lawsuit if you don’t stop makng a living. It is the ultimate example of corporate greed. It’s all out there with the FOIA, see how they go after employees when they leave. Terrible salaries for recruiters and sales The company as a whole had some good clients, decent sales team in specific areas, If your stuck with bad office, you won’t succeed and your only as good as your last week. No training program, they expect people to hit ground running. Executive staff are a bunch of clueless individuals who only join local organizations, boards and participate in philanthropy if it will help them and company positive PR spin.

Pros

The salary offer was pretty good for the Detroit area, however don't expect to be employed for long.

Cons

Awful business practices. Examples: - At my one year anniversary, I asked my S3 account manager about my performance review and salary increase. The account manager smiled and said, "I know that's probably what the recruiter said, but that's not the way it really works". The bottom line is the salary you start at is the one you'll probably always have. But if you look at the S3 employee manual is says that you'll be evaluated at 6 months and then again at one year. In the one year that I worked for S3, I heard from my account manager once - when he needed a favor from me. - S3 would send people to interview for positions who clearly weren't skilled enough for the position. S3 checks none of the skills listed on the resume when people hire in. If you are a company thinking of hiring a S3 contractor, you must do your own careful evaluation of whether the person really has the skills and experience that is on their resume. - Some of the S3 people I worked with had little or no IT skills, couldn't write a single sentence correctly and an accent so strong that some couldn't be understood. - Look the the S3 web site on the "news" page. The last entry was in 2009?! The last newsletter was in 2007. S3 isn't growing or improving. It operates to make bundles of cash for a few s lect few at the top of S3
