Pros
Independent financial advisor thru the Stratos IAR platform. From what I can tell the pay outs are low, and the CEO will make time for you if you need him. Compliance is fair and helpful. I've had a favorable experience with Stratos and would recommend it to others.
Cons
The do have their own funds you can sell, but in many ways you are on your own in deciding the right investments for your clients. And honestly that just barely qualifies as a con, but if you are an advisor who is use to being fed investment ideas, you could find difficulty being independent.
