Great entry level job

Pros

Introduces you to the field of working with individuals who have special needs. The longer you remain with the company the more time off you earn. You also get to know many people within the agencies you serve.

Cons

Nowhere to move within the agency. No raises no matter your tenure. Lots of wear and tear on your vehicle and seemingly no compromises. They will tell you what a great job you do, but you get no other type of recognition or repayment for hard work except taxed bonus.

Pros

Nice coworkers, flexibility, good Program Manager, mileage reimbursement & decent benefits.

Cons

Suburban Access needs to hire more employees so that the current employees don't get overwhelmed with a huge caseload. Suburban Access should compensate employees for covering extra cases. Suburban Access should have a base caseload of 60 maximum & pay more for employees who take on more clients. It's impossible to meet DHS standards with a caseload that's too large. It's also not fair to expect those standards to be met when caseloads are too large.

Not Worth It

Pros

Good insurance, great opportunity to help young children and families, flexible scheduling, easy to get your master's degree while working here

Cons

Upper management is terrible and does not understand how the CFC program works, upper management is out of touch with reality of their employees, technology is outdated, nepotism runs deep and you have to no one in power to complain to about work not getting done, extremely high caseloads for those left following a mass exodus of good employees
