Culture and Environment: The company culture at SugarShot is toxic at best. From the top-down, there's a palpable sense of disorganization and disengagement. Colleagues engage in backstabbing and gossip, eroding trust and making collaboration nearly impossible. Morale is consistently low, with a pervasive feeling of dissatisfaction lingering in the air. Work-Life Balance: Forget about achieving any semblance of work-life balance here. Expectations are unrealistic, with management showing little regard for employees' personal time. Overtime is not just encouraged but practically mandatory, leading to burnout and resentment among staff. Career Growth Opportunities: If you're hoping to advance your career or develop new skills, you're better off looking elsewhere. SugarShot lacks any meaningful support for professional development, leaving employees feeling stagnant and unfulfilled in their roles. Wages - consistently below market average Work/Life balance - this is one of those companies that wants you to feel "like a family". In other words, they want you to sacrifice your own time for them, without being compensated. Skillset - The general technical knowledge of the staff is dated. There were many struggles with newer tech (Azure, AWS, AVD, etc). Culture/Inclusion/Diversity - If you don't think like them, act like them, and talk like them - you won't be accepted. It's a tight knit close minded group of individuals. They 'made' their employees all do 5 star reviews on GlassDoor, so most of the reviews aren't even accurate representations of what it's like.
