Pros
Nice environment especially most locals and some expatriates colleagues.
Cons
(1) The unilateral significant changes to the employment contract in 2021 had caused many expatriates to leave the institution. (2) Few cases of expatriates being denied gratuity payment when the new decree came as a surprise to many. (3) The child education allowance was removed and no announcement was officially made by the University to inform the expatriate staff except in the Arabic version which appeared in the local newspaper. (4) The medical card has now become "payable" in order to get the increasingly limited medical coverage from the University hospital.
