Pros

The salaries offered are competitive with other similar organizations in the area. Some of the people who work there are die-hard idealists who really care.

Cons

Summit has a difficult work environment, and a revolving door problem. The upper management are not good at working with other people in a positive, and in the end this lack of positive management really hurts the organization's mission by driving employers and business partners away.

Students are great to work with Real improvement to student’s lives Depending on department and individual experience, some students feel very empowered and positive about their time at Summit Some great coworkers

Toxic workplace environment Lack of care/understanding from upper leadership HR ill-equipped to handle concerns (inaction in regards to serious issues) Culture of distrust Little to no clear cross-program and department communication High turn-over

Great Mission and some truly great people work here.

Cons

Sexual harassment was reported but I wasn't taken seriously. Upper management is overpaid and they don't take the time to consult their employees on their decision-making.
