It is still a fairly new business especially compared to the other businesses in town and has a quick turnover. There are a few reasons that it is so quick, with the biggest reason being that (at least while I was there) the pay was not compensating for the amount of responsibility. I have heard it went up even $5/hr since then but considering that we see the numbers in front of us even $19/hr doesn't feel fair. Each guest is paying a minimum of $100 for one service and at least $200 before leaving. The most common amount I saw being payed out was three or four hundred per person and with 150 guests average relying on you for everything, you start to expect more especially at the 3 month mark where you are fully trained.
There were so many benefits but using them is difficult. It is easier now for employees so I do believe this was addressed a bit better.
